About Me

Dr. Julia Maietta earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a training specialty in neuropsychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She completed her predoctoral internship and first year of postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in Oklahoma City. Dr. Maietta completed an additional year of postdoctoral fellowship in Concussion, Rehabilitation, and Neuropsychology at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Maietta has received advanced clinical training in neuropsychological assessment with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She has taught courses in general psychology, neuroscience, neuropsychology, psychological assessment, and sensation/perception and has been involved in mentoring undergraduate students. She has published peer-reviewed articles in refereed journals and has presented her research at regional, national, and international professional conferences. Dr. Maietta has also been actively involved in leadership positions within the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (SCN), the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society, and KnowNeuropsychology.
