Research

Dr. Maietta currently works in the Neuropsychological Outcome Assessment Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Grant Iverson. In her graduate training, Dr. Maietta worked in the Neuropsychology Research Program (Principal Investigator: Daniel Allen, Ph.D.) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Maietta's research was awarded the UNLV Foundation Board of Trustees Doctoral Research Fellowship. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the psychometric properties of a commonly utilized sport concussion assessment (the ImPACT). Her research interests include best practices for assessment and management of sport concussion as well as the impact of head injury on neurodegenerative conditions
